Petri Pajarinen
Managing Director
Petri has an extensive professional history in the telecommunication business. As Head of Product Validation at Nokia, he responsibly led the team to ensure Nokia Mobile Phones product quality. In this role, Petri managed employees in various locations around the world. He has also held several other management positions and has extensive experience in leading local and global teams.
Kari Komonen
VP, Project Manager
Kari Komonen is VP of TESTiLABS and responsible for project management services. He has a long history in managerial positions in the wireless ad telecom industries. Over the span of 20 years, he has successfully managed business development, customer relations, technology & business strategy and execution, and large-scale projects and held numerous key positions such as Head of Wireless Performance Quality position at Microsoft. Kari brings his extensive managerial and executive experience in the wireless industry to the table, and has led various projects since joining TESTiLABS
Jani Kallankari
Chief Scientist
Jani Kallankari is one of the leading experts in the wireless industry, specifically in OTA Testing, having previously worked more than 15 years in those fields. He has previously operated as a Principal Engineer in the field of OTA testing in Nokia and in Microsoft. RF, Modem and Signal analysis area functionality and performance are Jani’s specialities in the test system development.
Miia Nurkkala
Laboratory Manager
Miia Nurkkala is our head SAR guru. She has 15 years of experience in the field of wireless OTA testing. She has been responsible for testing service management, accreditation management, customer relations and reporting. She has also been a delegate in global OTA standardization. Before working closely with TESTiLABS, Miia has been OTA Specialist in Nokia and Principal Engineer in the field of OTA testing in Microsoft. She is an experienced asset in the SAR testing and is one of the main key figures in this field.
Veli-Matti Vainonen
Field Testing Specialist
Veli-Matti Vainonen has had a long experience in Field Testing, making him TESTiLABS’ own FT Specialist. His expertise and field experiences date back to 1989. He was involved in the field testing of Nokia’s first GSM devices. Veli-Matti has had several leadership positions in this field for Nokia, first leading a team responsible for GSM mobile and automotive field testing and later another team tasked with field testing multiple GSM devices. He has also had an extensive professional history in management for Nokia WCDMA devices, leading local and global team. He has transitioned into specialising in LTE for Nokia (Lumia) devices and then later on leading FT subcontracting as project manager for Microsoft mobile devices, making his field-testing portfolio extensive, from 2G to 4G.
