The NTRA has approved the use of 6GHz RLAN devices within the 5925–6425 MHz frequency band, marking the first time this band is available for WiFi 6E applications in Egypt. Devices operating in this band must adhere to the following criteria:
- Frequency Band: 5925–6425 MHz
- Maximum EIRP: 250mW
- Digital Modulation Standards: Based on IEEE 802.11ax
- Usage Restrictions: Limited to indoor environments

Strengthening 5G Infrastructure with New Licensing and Incentives
The NTRA has also granted 5G licenses to mobile operators, the authority introduced a new mechanism for quality violation fines, which includes doubling fine values for non-compliance.
