Key Updates at a Glance
GB/T 4706.1-2024 Standard
- Effective Date: August 1, 2026
- Transition Period:
- Until July 31, 2026: Applicants may choose between the old and new standards.
- After August 1, 2026: Only the new standard is accepted.
- Certificate Conversion for Existing Products:
- Initiate conversion immediately.
- Complete conversion by July 31, 2027 to avoid suspension; finalize by October 31, 2027 to prevent revocation.
GB 4343.1-2024 Standard (Electromagnetic Compatibility)
- Effective Date: June 1, 2026
- Transition Period:
- Until May 31, 2026: Choice between old and new standards is available.
- After June 1, 2026: Only the new standard will be implemented.
- Certificate Conversion for Existing Products:
- Complete by May 31, 2027 to avoid suspension; finalize by August 31, 2027 to avoid revocation.
Note: Products already released to the market and no longer in production are exempt from certificate conversion.

- Product-Specific Changes:
- Evaporative Cool Fans: Now certified under GB/T 4706.115-2024 (replacing GB4706.27).
- Portable Induction Cookers: Certified under GB/T 4706.14-2024 (replacing GB4706.29).
